You see, you have this thing called a shadow, and this shadow makes up the sum total of all the parts of yourself that were deemed unacceptable or undesirable while you were growing up.
At that time it was safer to squirrel away these parts to the back of your mind in order to fit in with the tribe.
These traits could be things such as anger, envy, jealousy or greed and these aspects are known as the Dark Shadow.
But, what may be more interesting to know, is that you could have also locked away positive traits such as confidence, trust, show off or gifted.
These are what are termed your, ‘Golden Shadow,’ and are aspects of yourself that were deemed too light for the people in your life, so you hid these away too.
To spot your golden shadow pay attention to when you look up to others who already have what you want and observe when you aspire to be like them.
When you are launching or scaling your business, this may look like idolising someone who is a little further along the journey than you, or secretly feeling envious of someone else’s success.
This person is showing you qualities that you instinctively have in yourself, but that are currently not integrated into your conscious awareness.
The fact that you see and notice them in another is your minds way of saying, “notice me, I’m in here too!”
